Teaching & Outreach

Photo 4Dr. Levi leads the Aquatic Environmental Sciences track within the Department of Environmental Science & Sustainability at Drake University. He teaches courses that span disciplines – from the physics of hydrology to the policy of water resources. A key component to each class is exploring the connections of water and science to everyday life. During the Fall 2017 semester, Dr. Levi will be teaching Limnology (the study of inland waters), which has an associated lab, and Water Resources & Policy.

Our lab is engaged in local and state-wide outreach. Recently, we presented a groundwater model at Drake University’s STEM Festival and participated in a bioblitz at the Whiterock Conservancy in Coon Rapids, WI. We are happy to present to school groups, community organizations, or the general public. Please contact us to arrange a Stream Chat!
